Despite rain, huge rush for Eid Shopping seen in Bhatkal

Bhatkal - 18 Aug 2012: As the festival of Eid is famous for aggressive shopping, the streets of Bhatkal are filled with Eid shoppers despite frequent rain and bad weather from last one week. People from all religion and nearby villages are seen shopping as the Ramadan Bazar offers good quality and price. Here we can get almost all goods including branded and unbranded footwears, clothes and cosmetics.

Due to heavy rush, police had prohibited vehicles from entering the main road stretch from Moulana Azad cross to Al-Hijaz Agencies.

As the news of moon sighting is announced, people seen rushing to the bazaar venue in huge numbers and seen buying whatever coming in their way.
