Depressed man commits suicide in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: 06 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) A drunkard person, reportedly depressed over unknown reason committed suicide by hanging himself with a nylon rope in a cow shed here at Marukeri of Bhatkal on Monday, 5 Nov. The deceased has been identified as Krishna Timappa Gonda (50), a resident of Marukeri region of Bhatkal taluka. According to the reports, on Monday around 4:00pm, Krishna who had developed the habit of drinking through out the day, hanged himself with a nylon rope inside the cow shed nearby his residence. The reason for his extreme step is yet to be ascertained. Police personnel rushed to the spot and shifted his body to Government hospital of Bhatkal for post mortem. A case has been registered at Bhatkal Rural police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
