Department of Information and Public Relations mark 150th birth year of Mahatma Gandhi; leads procession along with school students

Bhatkal 18 December 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Department of Information and Public Relations marked the 150th birth year of father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, by taking out a procession which included school students marching across the main road of the town, along with a vehicle that had statues of Mahatma Gandhi here in Bhatkal on Sunday December 16. Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Sajid Mulla welcomed the procession by offering flowers near Taluka Panchayath office at Bhatkal. The vehicle that had Charaka at the top, marched along with several people including school students at Bhatkal . BEO MR Munji, Minority Department official Shamsuddin, Prabhakahar Chikkamane, students and teachers of various schools and others were present during the procession. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
