Decomposed body of Rizwan Achari found

Bhatkal 4 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Bhatkal Rural Police on Tuesday, recovered the decomposed body of Rizwan Achari, who went missing on Thursday 30 August. The body was recovered from Belegedde locality in Heble Panchayath limits of Bhatkal. The deceased who was a carpenter by profession, went missing on August 30, after returning to Bhatkal from his daughter's wedding in Haveri district. A missing complaint was registered at Bhatkal rural police station following the incident. [caption id="attachment_176046" align="aligncenter" width="644"] deceased Rizwan[/caption] On Tuesday, locals at Belegedde locality reported foul smell from a nearby well, when unidentified body was noticed, Rural Police was alerted who rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Bhatkal Taluka Government Hospital with the help of local youngsters and social workers for post-mortem. Police officials however refused to comment on whether it was a suicide or murder, given the condition of the body and instead are waiting for the post-mortem report. "The body was not identifiable, but it was identified by driving license that the body was that of Rizwan Achary.
