Deccan Welfare Association organizes free Diabetes camp

25 Nov 13 | Mohammed Aeraf | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Deccan Welfare Association organized a free diabetes medical camp here on Sunday where around 80 patients were medically examined, given free blood sugar test to assess the risk of developing the disease and offered free counselling by Dr Nazeer Attar and Dr Naseem Ahmed Khan. Patients also underwent free ECG test and free BP (Blood pressure) check-up. Medicines were also distributed among them. The camp began with recitation of Quran at 7:30 am and thereafter patients were examined till 2:00 pm. Guests that were present in the function included Dr Abdul Rasheed, Dr Yahya, Dr Noorulamin Musba, Dr Aliya Naznin, R K Bhat, Sayed Hussain Barmawar, Moulana Yaseer, Area Manager of Bal pharma Sri Ram Kulkarni and Ramchandra Shetty (District Sales Officer). Members of Deccan Welfare Association - President Farooque Shaikh, Vice President Dr Naseem Khan, General Secretary Showkhat Khateeb. I D Khan, Aqbar Ali, Mohiddin Nizam, Zikriya, Nazeer Ahmed, S.M Ilyas, Abdul Kareem Shaikh were also present at the camp.
