Deccan Welfare Association distributes free notebooks to poor students

11th June 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Like every year, this year also Deccan Welfare Association in Bhatkal distributed free notebooks to poor students. Sports equipments too were donated to Government Urdu High School Jamia. The program began at 5:30 pm. Sports items like carrom-boards, javelins, dumbbells, volley balls along with net, throw balls, etc were handed over by P.E teacher Nagraj. Thereafter, free notebooks were distributed among the poor students of Jaali, Badriya colony, Madeena colony, Gulmi, Magdoom colony, Taggargod etc. President of Deccan Welfare Association Janab Farooq, General Secretary Showkat Khateeb, Mohiddin Nizam, S M Ilyas, Akbar Ali, Zikriya, Ashfaque Tahira and I D Khan (Organizer) were present on this occasion. All members of the Association participated whole heartedly to make this event a success.
