Deccan Welfare Association distributes free notebooks

Bhatkal: Over 70 students received free notebooks and stationery from Deccan Welfare Association, a social service organisation, on Sunday.
The notebooks were distributed to students from various schools in the town who hail from poorer families by the members of the organization at a function organized at Deccan Welfare Association's office in Rangeen Katte.
The program started at 5 pm in which free notebooks were distributed among the poor students of Jaali, Badriya colony, Madeena colony, Gulmi, Magdoom colony, Taggargod etc.
President of Deccan Welfare Association Dr. Zameerulla Shareef, Vice President Dr. Naseem Khan, Secretary Mr. Amjad and other executive members were present on this occasion. All members of the association participated whole heartedly to make this event a success.
The Deccan Welfare Association was established in the year 2000, with the sole purpose of service to the down-trodden, and suppressed poor, irrespective of caste and creed.
