Dead body of railway employee recovered from a well in Gorte village

Bhatkal – 30 Nov 2012: A dead body of senior employee of Bhatkal railway staion was recovered from a well in Gorte village located near Bhatkal-Shirur border. The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Mesta (44). According to the sources, he was working as a senior commercial officer from last 10 years at Bhatkal Railway Station. On Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm after finishing his duty he left for his mother’s house located in D P Colony, Shirur. When he didn’t reached home their family members registered a missing complaint at Bhatkal police station. Police team headed by Bhatkal CPI Mr Belliyappa launched a search operation and succeeded in recovering the dead body from a well in Gorte village.A case has been registered at Bhatkal police staion and the investigation is going on.
