Day 1 report of Jamia Islamia Convention

More than 2000 Non-Muslims attended the open day of the education convention hosted at Jamia Islamia Bhatkal as they attended the first day's proceedings with interest. Government dignitaries, leaders from the Hindu community and representatives from Jamia Islamia attended the event.

Extending beyond the Maghrib prayers, the sessions highlighted the role of Jamia Islamia in promoting Bhatkal as an educational hub and creating ambassadors of peace.

Shivanand Naik, Former BJP MLA said, "The magnaminous crowd is proof of Jamia's popularity and peoples love for an institution which has served people for 50 years now."

Karnataka Education Minister, Vishwanath Hegde Kageri also shared similar thoughts.
