Date for submission of nomination papers for Bhatkal TMC election ends

Bhatkal – Submission of nomination papers for the upcoming Bhatkal TMC elections have been completed as the last date ended today evening. Three ex-presidents of TMC, Tanzeem General Secretary and several others are in the fray. As the Assembly Elections and the General Elections are coming back to back this time, people are very much interested in this elections and everyone is campaigning for his favorite candidate. The list of candidates who have filed their nomination papers are as follows, Qudsiya Asif Kazi, Sabiha Tayeb, Sadiq Matta, Wahida Banu Basha Mukri, Abdullah Khatibi, Abdul Rahim Kalaiwale, Farzana Soudagar, Khaleel Shipai, D H Shabber, Mohiddin Altaf Kharuri, Qaiser Mohtesham, Parvez Kasimji, Abdul Rauf Naitey, and Dr Saleem. Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner has issued a directive to the nodal officers asking them to keep an eye on expenditure of participating candidates. It may be noted that, the expenditure limit for Municipality candidate is fixed at 2 lakh rupees.
