Danube BPL Semi-finals: Concord defeats Daffini, SahilOnline overpowers PMG

Dubai – Concord Sailors defeated Daffini Charges and SahilOnline surpassed PMG Strikers to seal berth in the final of Danube Bhatkal Premier League T-20 Cricket Tournament which is underway in Dubai. In the first semi final, electing to bat first Daffini Chargers managed to put 150 runs on board in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Concord Sailors sailed through the finals with one over to spare by conceding only 4 wickets. Concord Batsman Arshad’s unbeaten knock of 52 in 54 balls sealed the victory over Daffini Chargers who gave tough fight to Sailors. In the second semi final, SahilOnline Riders defeated PMG Strikers comprehensively to fix date with Concord Sailors for the final showdown. Electing to bat first, SahilOnline scored 184 runs with the help of Zia, Ubada and Rehan’s quick fire knocks. In reply, PMG Strikers managed to get only 140 runs in their allotted 20 overs and lost the game by 45 runs. Rehan declared man of the match for his all round performance. Bhatkallys News Service
