Cyber crime police station in Bhatkal Under Consideration: IGP

June 22, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Karwar: Top officials of police department will discuss setting up cyber crime police station in Bhatkal to keep a check on terror activities, announced Western Range IGP Arun Chakravarty speaking at a press conference held at SP's office here on Monday. In terror related incidents, the name of Bhatkal town, on many occasions crops up in news, he added. Efforts should be made more in controlling the crime than investigating it, he opined. Approval for an all-women police station for Uttar Karnataka has already been given, he said. Police will take stern action on mischief mongers and those who commit organized crime, he warned. - ARF
