Crowds throng Ramadan bazaar as rain subsides

07th August 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Due to incessant rains since past one week, the popular Ramadan bazaar in Bhatkal had lost its sheen. As the rains subsided today, shoppers thronged the bazaar for Eid shopping. Entire Bhatkal Main road was laid with clothes, shoes, ornaments, toys, food-items, and various other stuff. People from different villages and khedas too came to the bazaar as it has now become famous for the economical rates of items sold here. A large gathering of Hindu brethren were also seen buying stuff from the market. This is indeed a noble demonstration of peace and Hindu-Muslim unity in Bhatkal.
