Crowd throng Ramadan Bazar defying rain

July 21, 2014 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Defying rain, people from all faiths and beliefs from Bhatkal and nearby places are seen thronging Ramadan Bazar and busy shopping for their festivals. The traffic police is patrolling near Moulana Azad Road Cross and Marikette to avoid traffic jams. This time, the police have also made arrangements for parking in Anjuman Ground and Government School so that vehicles can be parked there instead of the roads so as to avoid road blocks. In spite of rain, people are seen busy in their shoppings. Notably, Ramadan Bazar will remain closed on 23rd and 24th July on account of Marihabba festival. - ARF
