Controversial sign board removed from Azadnagar land

Bhatkal - 17 Dec 2011: The controversial sign board in Azadnagar near Hamza Masjid which created tension between two communities was removed by Forest department with the help of police and district administration. The area is also sealed by erecting barriers around it.

The tension prevailed between two comminities few days back when Hindu Jagran Vedike (HJV) activists illegally encroached the vacant land and put up banners and signboards claiming that the land was belonged to temple.
