Condolence meet for Abdullah Damudi organized by Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen and Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem

Bhatkal 3 Aug 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal and Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal on Friday collaboratively organized a condolence meet for Abdullah Damudi a member of both of these organization who passed away on Thursday at the age of 77 at his residence after prolonged illness. Several members of both the organizations along with general public turned out in numbers to attend the condolence meet that was organized at the meeting hall of Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem and was presided over by President of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Abdul Rahim Jukaku. Speaking at the meeting, Moulana Abdul Raqeeb MJ, Moulana Khaja Mohinuddin Akrami Madani, Inayathullah Shabandri and others spoke about the qualities Abdullah Damudi possessed and how he was a dedicated social worker with an heart for the community. "We can only hope from Almighty Allah to fill in the void our community is left with, with the demise of a great visionary and educationist like Abdullah Damudi" Moulana Abdul Raqeeb MJ added. Moulana Maqbool Kobbatte, Shafi Master, Abdul Qadir Basha Mohammed Bapu and others shared their life experiences they had in the company of Abdullah Damudi. Members and officials of several other Jamats from neighboring towns and villages like Murdeshwar, Valki, Manki, Gersuppa and others also expressed their condolences on the demise of Abdullah Damudi, while also speaking about the kind of impact the personality of Abdullah Damudi had on the people and events of their respective towns/villages. The event concluded with the presidential remarks of Abdul Rahim Jukaku followed by supplications by Moulana Iqbal Mulla.
