Complaint filed against youth for abusive post against woman on Facebook

Bhatkallys News Bureau Mangaluru: A complaint has been filed against a youth by a Dalit woman, Shruti Kotian at Urwa Police Station here in connection with the abusing comments made by youth on social media platform. The accused Harish Raj abused Shruti through his offensive comments against her for supporting a Muslim candidate on her status update on Facebook platform. Shruti had updated the status depicting her support to DYFI state President Muneer Katipalla, who is expected to contest the upcoming assembly elections from Mangaluru North Consistency.
