Complaint filed against Chief Minister Kumaraswamy with Election Commission

Bengaluru: State police Maha Sangha President Shashidhar has filed a complaint against Chief Minister Kumaraswamy with the Election Commission. He has mentioned in the complaint that Chief Minister Kumaraswamy did not submit the correct information about his private affiliation to the Election Commission during Assembly polls. "This matter should be investigated properly," the complaint reads. Speaking after filing the complaint, Shashidhar said "a candidate should give the complete details of his dependents as per the 125 (A) of the People's Representation Act and the Indian Penal Code. However, Kumaraswamy did not mention about Radhika Kumaraswamy and her daughter. He has misled the people of the state." Source: Vartha Bharathi
