Collision of bike and tanker in Suratkal; Bhatkali youth killed

30th April 13 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal - In a road accident that occurred today afternoon at NH66 Suratkal, a youth from Bhatkal has been killed and another is seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as Umar Amash Mohatisham (21) son of Mohammed Mueen Mohatisham and injured has been identified as Mohammed Aoun Ali Bapu. According to sources, they both were travelling to Mangalore on a bike for some work. In the afternoon when they reached Mukka National Highway near Mangalore a tanker coming from opposite direction slammed their bike. As a result, Umar Amash died on the spot and injured Mohammed Aoun was taken to a local hospital. Later, he was shifted to AJ hospital. According to information received, late Umar Amash Mohatisham was a resident of Sultan Street and a student of BBA final year and Mohammed Aoun Ali Bapu is a resident of Nagappa Naik road. According to sources from police, the corpse has been sent to Mangalore for post-mortem and after required actions it will be back to Bhatkal.
