Coast Guard DG visits Karwar

Director-General of Coast Guard Rajendra Singh on Thursday visited Karwar to review the infrastructure development and coastal security mechanism of Uttara Kannada. Additional Director-General K. Natarajan and other officials of the Coastal Guard accompanied him According to a press release, Mr. Rajendra Singh’s visit was intended to develop synergy with other stakeholders and enhance coordination and cooperation. Mr. Rajendra Singh interacted with Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner S.S. Nakul and Superintendent of Police Vinayak Patil.

Mr. Nakul reportedly assured Mr. Rajendra Singh of assistance for the Coast Guard in development of infrastructure in the district.

Mr. Rajendra Singh praised the efforts by coast guards in Karwar to secure coasts and make sea safe.
