Mangaluru: The coalition government in Karnataka led by HD Kumaraswamy will complete 100 days within a couple of days and there are talks making rounds that problems are showing up in the 'marriage'. Commenting on the alliance at the state, Union Minister and BJP leader DV Sadananda Gowda has prophesied that the coalition government will fall in 15 days or in one month. DVS opined that former CM Siddaramaiah, who had all plans to topple the Congress-JD(S) government, ended up supporting the government only due to the instructions from the party national leadership. Addressing reporters in Mangaluru on Tuesday, DVS said that the alliance at the state was formed without any good intention. "It was formed to keep the BJP away from power. They have not come together to uphold the spirit of democracy. The opportunist leaders of the Congress and the JD(S) do not want the state to prosper," he said adding that there is no way that estranged individuals-JD(S) Supremo HD Devegowda and Siddaramaiah would come together again. The talks of differences between the coalition partners have been hitting headlines ever since the Congress and the JD(S) joined hands to keep the BJP away from power, despite the BJP bagging majority votes in the Assembly polls. However, the recent statement of Siddaramaiah that he would want to become the Chief Minister again has only fanned the flames. Source: News Karnataka
