Closing ceremony of summer camp at Al Kauthar Girls College

25th April 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Like last year, this year too a summer camp was organized for students of Al Kauthar Girls College in which in addition to Quran and Hadeeth lessons, training for stitching, cooking, embroidery, vegetable carving, henna design, etc were also provided. Closing ceremony was held in the evening at Al Kauthar Girls College near Basti Road. The program began with Quran recitation and singing of Nasheed. Thereafter, General Secretary of Al Kauthar Girls college, Janab Abdul Qaadir Basha Saheb Ruknuddin expressed his thoughts and said that participants should implement upon the knowledge that they have gained during this summer course and should utilize the arts and crafts that they have learnt in their daily lives and gain profit from it. On this occasion, he advised that we should give due importance to time. He further said that we should try to read the Quran with understanding as it is a very easy book and there is no similitude of Quran in this world. He emphasized that success will only be achieved in implementing the guidance of Quran in their everyday lives. In the end, he mentioned to guardians that they should give both the knowledge of worldly life and the afterlife to their children. On this occasion, various artifacts such as food items, vegetable carvings, clothes, woolen baskets, henna designs, etc that students implemented during the summer camp were on display and awards were presented to toppers. On this occasion, Janab Yasir Saheb Barmawar Nadvi, Janab Salahuddin Saheb S K, etc were present.
