Cleaning campaign kicks off in Bhatkal

02 Oct 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A massive cleaning campaign was inaugurated in Government Hospital Bhatkal on Wednesday 2nd October as part of the birth celebrations of Gandhiji. After the inauguration program, the cleaning campaign kicked off which saw participation from Assistant Comissioner Mr. Kurama Rao, Bhatkal Tahsildar GM Borker, Zilla Panchayat President and members, PDO, members of Majlis Islah-va-Tanzeem and NCC cadets. In the cleaning campaign, garbage and waste were cleaned from within the Government Hospital and it's surroundings. In Karwar, District In-charge Minister VR Deshpande, DC Mr Amkongla, Panchayat Secretary VRP Manohar, and other officers were seen clearing the garbage and waste as part of the cleaning campaign.
