City Centre completely safe, open to public : Management

Mangaluru : The fire that broke out at the City Centre has been totally brought under control immediately and the building is now fully safe , said a release from the mall management to the media 'Fire may have happened due to some issue in electrical wiring. We are thoroughly checking to know the real reason. But there was no injury or loss to any property. Fire was immediately contained. Only smoke spread to some parts of the mall, which is also brought under control. After cleaning and ensuring that the Mall is completely safe , it has been opened for customers at 2pm , ' said the release. According to the sources, incident took place at the Food Court on the fourth floor of the City Center. Firefighters were alerted when fire was spotted at a kitchen of the Food Court. The firemen rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. However, heavy smoke has been filled in the mall.
