Chris Gayle New Record: First Player To Reach 8000 Runs Milestone In T20

Chris Gayle otherwise known as the Gayle Storm have peaked the record of scoring 8000 runs in T20 matches. We all know him as a hard hitter in T20 matches. If a T20 match comes to mind, everyone remembers only one name and he is Chris Gayle. He is one of the most destructive batsmen of all time. Not only in T20, he had also created record of scoring 300 in test match and 200 in ODI. His most powerful weapon is hitting the ball over the boundary for a six. He is the only player to reach the feet. He is not only the first person to reach 8000, he is also the first player to reach 6000 runs and even 7000 runs. The Jamaican may not be playing many international matches but on the domestic T20 circuit, no one would want to be bowling to him. Gayle has had his share of differences with the West Indies Cricket Board and hence played limited matches but his domestic career clearly is flourishing.
