Children injured in UAE school bus-car collisions in good condition

All children who were injured in two school bus-car collisions on Wednesday are in good health condition, according to the head of Department of Health in Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi Police reported on Wednesday evening that nine children were injured in two separate accidents involving school buses in Abu Dhabi. In the first incident, six children were injured after the school bus they were in crashed into another vehicle near the Union Bank on Al Reem Island. In the second incident, three Emirati kids were injured after their bus collided with a car near Al Raha Beach. Two other women were also injured. All the injured students were taken to Sheikh Khalifa Medical City where they have been receiving treatment. And in order to ensure the health of the children, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Hamed, director of Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, who was accompanied by Mohammed Al Hamli, Undersecretary of the Department of Health visited the students on Wednesday evening to check on their condition. "I'm happy that the health of all children are in good condition after receiving treatment. We would continue with our efforts to ensure that good health care is provided to these children as it our top priority," said Al Hamed.
