Child falls off moving train; gets killed

31st May 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly/ Bhatkallys News naman-1 Bhatkal: A 2-years old child was killed after accidentally slipping from his father's hand and falling off from the emergency window of a moving train. This incident happened at around 11:00 am today morning near Kadvin Katta bridge in Bhatkal. According to sources, two families from Gujrat were travelling on Viraval express that left from Mumbai and was heading towards Kerala. Their 2-years old child Naman was also travelling with them. They were sitting near the emergency window as they were travelling on an RAC ticket. When the father tried to adjust the slippers the child fell off accidentally from the emergency window. Immediately after the incident the child was rushed to Nishat hospital and then shifted to Government Hospital Bhatkal but by that time he had died. The corpse was handed to the family after the autopsy. This case has been registered at Bhaktal Rural police station.
