Chikkamagaluru: Newborn baby smashed to death

Chikkamagaluru: In a shameful act, a newborn baby was smashed to death on Saturday, February 2 near old taluk office on Belur Road here. It is gathered that the baby which was crushed to death was a female child, but the identity of the parents of the child is not yet found. As per the sources it is suspected that the baby was wraped in the cloth before smashing the baby to death. The passerby who saw the lifeless baby immediately informed the police. The police rushed to the spot and carried the investigation. They took over the body of the newborn for further procedures like case registration and investigation. Source: Udayavani
