Chennai: Man attempts to take lightning's photo on phone, dies

A 43-year-old man identified as HM Ramesh died, on Wednesday, after being struck by lightning as he attempted to click photographs of sparks in the sky on his mobile phone. Ramesh died in Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu. He is survived by wife Uma and 13-year-old daughter Zia. His body was sent for autopsy by Arambakkam police to Ponneri Government hospital.
