Chairman of Karnataka Minorities Corporation visits Bhatkal

Bhatkallys News | 28 Dec. 2016 BHATKAL, December 28: M.A. Gafoor, chairman of Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation (KMDC) visited Bhatkal today. He was received by Congress leaders at the Inspection Bungalow. KMDC had given loans to the tune of Rs. 20.9 crore to 6,330 students under the ‘Arivu’ scheme in the State. Under this scheme, the students of minority communities, who wanted to pursue professional courses such as medicine, engineering, dental, Master’s degree courses, diploma courses, nursing, B.Ed, BBM, BCA and ITI are provided financial assistance from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 50,000 per year till the completion of the course as loan.
