CET Aptitude test and Career development Program organized at AITM

13 December, 2015 | PRESS RELEASE | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A Unique event, first of its kind in entire coastal Karnataka was flagged off on 13/12/2015 at AITM Bhatkal. The event titled as CET Aptitude test and Carrier development Program was organized for P U Science students of Bhatkal. More than 250 students took part in this program. As first part of event, an Aptitude test in line with KCET was conducted to help students understand the nuances of multiple choice questions. The test comprising of questions drawn from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics was specially designed by college with the help of experts from the chosen fields. Students of seven PU Colleges took part in the test. After the end of the test, students were highlighted about the facilities existing in AITM Bhatkal by the way off PPT presentation. A working lunch was served for the students after presentation. The second component of the event was sessions on career counseling by Mr. B.R K Murthy, a renowned academy advisor, pan India. In this session valuable inputs were provided for all participants to help them chose further education based on their choice. A valedictory function was the concluding part of the daylong event, which was attended by the members of management of AHM Bhatkal, Principals of nearby PU Colleges, Principal and staff of AITM and student participants. Prizes and certificates were given away to the toppers of the CET Aptitude test during this occasion. It is hoped that this exercise will provide necessary impetus to the young aspirants studying in PU Colleges, to better the performance in coming examinations.
