Canara Gulf Council holds its first annual conference

March 15, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Canara Muslim Gulf Council held its first annual conference on February 26, 2016 at a private Hotel in Dubai that witnessed participation from nearly 160 delegates and invitees from all the member organizations. The main theme of the conference was education, development and welfare of the community. In the conference, key members pledged support and cooperation for a community school in Valki. The Conference expressed concern at the pitiable presence of students in Civil Services exams and considered many proposal to enhance the presence of community students in Civil Services Fields. Canara Muslim Gulf Council is a united umbrella body of 30 organizations in the Gulf comprising of NRIs from three taluks of coastal Karnataka - Kundapur, Bhatkal and Honnavar. - ARF
