Byndoor police constable dies in a road accident

Byndoor: A police constable of Byndoor police station succumbed to his critical head injuries after his bike rammed into a parked truck on NH 66 near Kambadakone of Byndoor Taluka in the wee hours of Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Nagesh Billava. According to the reports, Nagesh after completing his duty was returning to his home around 1. am when the incident took place. Due to severe head injuries, Nagesh succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The Byndoor police personnel visited the spot and handed over the body to his family after post mortem . It has been learnt that Nagesh had married recently about six months back. Udupi SP Laxman Nimbargi also visited the spot after getting informed of the incident.
