Byndoor: Electrical shop gutted in fire after shot circuit; loss worth over Rs. 20 lac reported

Byndoor 31 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Massive fire broke out at a electrical shop on NH 66 of Byndoor as a result of electrical shot circuit, here on Monday 30 July. The shop belongs to Suresh Poojary, a resident of Byndoor, who has reported an overall loss of over Rs. 20 lac in the incident. After the incident fire brigade rushed to the spot and took control over the fire, but by then the fire had spread across two other shops (a fancy shop and a bakery) in the same complex. Suresh claimed that the items that were for sale, and those brought by the customers for repairs work were destroyed in the incident there by taking the estimated loss to be as high as Rs. 20 lac. A case has been registered at Byndoor police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
