Bus stuck in the middle of NH 17; normal traffic interrupted

Bhatkal - The dismal condition of NH 17 at Bhatkal has become a nightmare for vehicles. Despite the allocation of funds from the Natonal Highway Authority for its repair, the repair work is yet to begin. Today morning at around 8:00 am, a Govt Volvo bus got stucked in the middle of the road at Mudbhatkal Bridge due to deep potholes and the normal traffic movement was disrupted for an hour. The traffic resumed only after the pit was filled and the bus is moved from there.
