BSY-DKShi meeting raises eyebrows

Bengaluru: BJP State President BS Yeddyurappa visited the residence of Congress leader and Water Resources Minister DK Shivakumar on Wednesday, November 28. As per the sources, the duo discussed tank development and water-related issues in Shikaripura, Yeddyurappa's constituency. Speaking to the reporters after the meeting Yeddyurappa said that as Water Resources Minister is DK Shivkumar this issue had to be discussed with him. He further added that they also discuss about irrigation projects of his home district Shivamogga. Yeddyurappa has asked for an early completion of the scheme to provide drinking water to villages in Shikaripura taluk affected by drought. There is no discrimination when it comes to developmental works. Yeddyurappa has helped congress when he was the chief minister, said DK Shivakumar. The meeting of Yeddyurappa and DK Shikumar just within a month of the high-decibel battle for three Lok Sabha and two Assembly seats has raised eyebrows.
