BSNL now offers post-paid customers unlimited data plans

BSNL has recently announced that it has launched new unlimited data plans for its post-paid customers. So far, two subscriptions packs have gone live and they’re currently limited to the north zone. BSNL states that the tariffs are aimed towards students and the youth. The first unlimited data plan is the 240 which costs Rs 240 per month and offers 1GB of high-speed usage, while the 340 which is available at Rs 340 per month, permits 2GB of un-throttled bandwidth. One exceeding the allotted data, browsing would continue to be free, but at reduced speeds of just 80Kbps. According to Zee News India, the new tariff packs are currently being offered in several locations. They include west and east UP, Rajasthan, Uttrakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab.
