BBMP poll case: The government on Monday moved a single bench seeking clarifications/modification of the March 30 order on BBMP elections. When additional advocate-general AS Ponnana moved the application before Justice BV Nagarathna, who had earlier passed the original order, the latter wondered what modification the state is seeking after the order was affirmed by the Supreme Court. The government is seeking changes to enable it to undertake delimitation of wards on the basis of 2011 census data before the polls. The judge posted the application to Tuesday. -TOI
