BMJ(Q) accorded Warm reception for Moulana Ilyas Jakti

Qatar - Well known Islamic scholar, Author, Founder of Ali Miya Academy and Founder of Ali Public School, Moulana Mohd, Ilyas Jakti Nadvi was in the State of Qatar after a official visit in the Sultanate of Oman on the invitation of Sultan Qaboos Centre for Islamic Studies, Diwan of Royal Court to attend the ceremony of a essay competition held on the topic ` Prophet Mohammed the messenger of peace,` a project designed by himself. Qatar Jamaat seized this moment and organized a function in order to accord him a warm reception in recognition of his outstanding services in the field of Dawaa at the residence of Mohd Zia Kola.

A widely travelled, Moulana Ilyas Jakti, a simple and humble person left an impression on all the participants for his depth of knowledge, coupled with his oratory skill.

Moulavi Mohd. Azhar Armar, a student of Moulana Ilyas at the Jamia Islamia Bhatkal, working in Qatar, heaped praises at his unique style of teaching that made his students not to miss a single class and his great zeal of giving something to the society through Islamic perspective by various mediums have no parallel . Because of his selfless contributions he got recognition at an early age not only in and around Bhatkal,he is being recognized through- out India and steadily gaining popularity even abroad.

Addressing the gathering Moulavi Ilyas Jakti Nadvi cationed about the social issues that afflicts our community and warned about our peoples conventional thinking that `my house is in order `as he repeatedly dwelled on having constant check on our children activities, spending pattern of huge foreign remittances etc. He also explained in detail how the Ali Miya Academy work to impart Islamic knowledge especially among non- believers and rectifying the misconceptions. He further said Dawaa is the bounded duty of every muslim, is accountable for not spreading the message of Allah even to a single non-believer to whom he has access.

Speaking with the bhatkallys.com on the sidelines of this function Moulana Ilyas hailed our all community schools contributions towards moulding the young generation in Islamic way. He had specifically praised the teaching community in this regard. Asked about the newly opened school will not generate a academic cold war ? he said his intention is to target missionary and those schools who have only commercial concern.
