BMJB Organizes Cooking Competition ' AmchiChef 2012'

Bhatkal Muslim Jamath Bangalore (BMJB) as part of EID Milan program organized Cooking competition 'AmchiChef 2012' here in Bangalore on Sunday Dec 2nd at Bota Mansion Compound. The competition was solely for Nawayath ladies to get more involved with Jamaath. Competition saw lots of varieties of dishes with lot more innovation in traditional Nawayath cuisines. All the participating ladies took great effort to make dishes more attractive and innovative. Chief guest for the evening was MasterChef India Season2 Runner-up Ms. Shazia Khan. MasterChef Shazia got completely fascinated with traditional Nawayath cusines, and the level of effort all the participants has put in the preparation.. Some dishes really attracted her for the way it presented in professional manner.  Other judges for the even along with MasterChef were Ms Khadeeja Zubair Kazi, Indian Airforce officer from Bhatkal Mr. Arqam Muallim, Veteran Foodie Mr. Farook Udyawar, Budding Entrepreneur and Food critic Mr. Yaseen Lanka. The ladies had an interesting time involving in games while the judges were evaluating the cuisines. Ms. Shazia gave lots of inputs, how to make the event interesting, and mentioned she would love to mention some of our Nawayath recipes in her upcoming Cookery Book. General Secretary Maaz Jukaku applauded the effort of all the participants and mentioned Jamaath looks forward to conduct many more activities in the future. He also thanked Mr. Nizam Siddiqha, Mr. Nauman Patel, Luqman Jukaku, Ilyas Moulana and the Volunteers from SMYM Hostel for their efforts and co-operation in making the event a great success. He also mentioned the efforts of the ladies especially, Ms. Shakira Nizam and Ms. Rana Riyaz Ikkery for coordinating the activities of AmchiChef 2012 The Winners of AmchiChef 2012 will be announced on Dec 9th during Eid Milan function.
