BMJ-Qatar celebrates Eid Get-together in style

Doha - 05 Sep 2011: Bhatkalli community in Qatar organised an impressive Eid Milanfilled with cheer and laughter in a grand hall of Caravan Hotel, attended by a galaxy of community's luminariesincluding,Mohd Gouse Khalifa - Secretary General Gulf Council, Mohd Younus Kazia - President BMJ-Eastern Province, Mohammed Ibrahim Kazia (Surkhu), Dr. Mohd Ismail Kazia, Dr. Owaise Khawaja - Ex-President Gulf Council, Mohd Iqbal Ikkeri (Kimiya) - Ex-PresidentEastern ProvinceDamam,Abdul Rawoof Askri (Member Ex-Council Eastern Province.etc. amidst all jubilation and excitements among the members.

The program began with the recitation of versesof glorious Quran by Ahmed Fuzail Armar followed by a Naat by Showkat Mankawi.

Addressing the gathering Moulavi Yahya Bermawarcalled upon everybody to observe piety (taqwa) in our day to day affairs. He said a devout muslim should doall the deeds in order toseek Allah`s pleasure and approval rather than to gain worldly fame.

During the introduction of all guests Moulavi Abdul Azeem Ruknuddin particularly showered praise on Mohammed Ibrahim Kazia for hisknown and unknown contributions for the communityand the institutions.

Chief Guest, Mohammed Gouse Khalifa expressedhissincere thanks forthe honour bestowed onhim. He outlined variousprogrammes successfully implemented by Rabita Society despitebudgetaryconstraintsfor the welfare ofpeople of Bhatkal.

Mohammed Younus Kazia, a successful Entrepreneur and President BMJ-EPextended warm Eid greetings toall the members, thanked for having shown their affection and acknowledged bytelling them that he came toattend this Eid Milan purely because of hisundying love for theQatar Jamaat. While interacting with the members of Jamaathe was very happy to see young educated class are finding jobs in Qatar by thier own efforts.He also expressed his disappointmentover denial of berthfor Qatar Jamaat in Anjuman Executive Council incurrentterm andpromised to support Qatar Jamaat's bid for regaining their representation.

Dr. Owaise Khawaja - Ex-President Gulf Council also spoke.

Children have presentedtheir amazing talents in the form of short skits, naat, rhymes and jokes and received huge appreciations from the audience.

Air tickets, mobile phones, gift vouchers, cash prizes were given to the members by lucky draws.

On this occasion a quiz Competition-2011 was conducted by Tahir Hussain Kazia, in which 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes arebagged by MohammedZubair Khalifa, Imran Kasarkode, Ibrahim Khalil Siddiahmada respectively.

Mohd Salahuddin Shabandari, General Secretary (BJM-Q), S. M. Syed Zakir compered the program.
