BMJ Muscat remembers Badrul Hasan saheb

Muscat, May 26, 2011 (Bhatkallys News): At a condolence meeting held yesterday in Ruwi, the Bhatkal Muslim Jamat Muscat (Oman) paid glowing tributes to Badrul Hasan Muallim who was killed along with four others in a tragic road accident on Monday. Mohammed Saleem Sada, president of the jamat, hailed Badrul Hasan as a personality who did much for the community but nothing for himself. Aftab Husain Kola, jamat vice-president, recounted his long association with Badrul Hasan and said, 'His selfless service to the downtrodden and poor of Uttara Kannada district will earn him rewards till Qiyamah.'

Among those who spoke on the occasion included Mohammed Qamar Merchant, general secretary, jamat; Hafiz Hasmatullah Ruknuddin, Mufti Hifzurrahman, Abdul Wahab Ekkeri, Abdulla Rafique among others.
