BMJ Eastern Province pays rich tributes to Late Bardul Hassan

Dammam / Jubail: Eastern Province Jamaat Secretary Mr. Sadiq Pilloor said here Saturday that vacuum created after demise of eminent leader, Dr. Badrul Hassan Muallim could not be filled for long and eulogized his matchless services for people of Uttara Kannada District.

He expressed that the deaths came at a particularly vulnerable time for our institutions, where emotions were still raw after the death of another able administrator Mr. Zafarali Muallim just few months ago.

He was addressing a huge public gathering on the occasion of condolence meeting of veteran Bhatkali Leader Dr. Badrul Hassan Muallim in WAMY Madrasa at Dammam.

Senior members of Murdeshwar Jamaat Janab Mani Abdul Fattah Saheb and Janab Manna Zubair Saheb conveyed their deep condolence and expressed that the sudden death of Badrul Hassan Saheb is a great loss to whole district. Abdul Hameed Kola also spoke on the occasion.

The function which started at 11:30 Pm concluded with presidential address by Mr. Iqbal Ikkeri.

Since Eastern Province is spread over vast area, the first function in the series was organized at Jubail on Thursday 26thMay 2011 at 11:30 PM. The programme which was held in Shahbandri farooq's apartment started with the recitation of Quraan and interpretation by Moulavi Hassan Faqqi Bhao Nadvi.

Badar Saheb's close associate for over three decades Janab Shabandri Farooq Saheb while paying rich tributes to services of deceased said that the departed leader was torch bearer in struggle for upliftment of Muslims of Uttara Kannada particularly Kumta and Sirsi and rendered great services for providing education to neglected segment of the society.

Farooq said he was simply a legend who made inroads into the minds and hearts of downtrodden people who largely acknowledged his services throughout his life.

Moulana Owais Madani prayed for the maghfirath of Badar Saheb and family and highlighted the good qualities he noted in his brief but memorable interactions with Badar Saheb. Jukaku Abdul Majeed sahib who is on a visit from Kozhikode highlighted the organizing capabilities he experienced while conducting recently held Bainul Jamaati Conference.

Joint Secretary of Jamaat Arshad Kadli described the deceased as a peace-loving and friendly person. He recollected close association with Badar Sahed since his early school days and memories of his travels with Badar Saheb when he was chairman of District Wakf Board. He expressed that Badar was highly respected by friends and foes because he always stood for peace and devoted all his life to address problems of downtrodden in various capacities.

Janab Abdurrahman Shahbandri explained that the one who is pious is dear to Allah regardless of being poor. He stressed people to inculcate good habits of the deceased.

Vice president of Jamaat Shahbandri Najeeb Saheb presided the gathering.

Large attendance of Jamaat members at both functions is a testimony to the popularity of Badrul Hassan Muallim Saheb.
