BMJ 'Aam Jalsa' hosted in Dubai

Dubai, 23 Apr 2011 : Over 250 people from the Bhatkalli community in Dubai got together at the Lotus Downtown Metro for this year's annual get-together, better known as the Aam Jalsa. Representatives from the community presented the annual report and took questions from members during the Q & A forum after the Maghrib prayer.

Verses from Surah Rehman recited by Moulvi Wasiul Haq Malpa marked the start of the programme as Damda Abu Abdul Salam, General Secretary - BMJ (Dubai), presented the annual report. Development work conducted through the various committees formed as part of the various initiatives by BMJ (D) were highlighted at the get-together. Earlier, interesting questions and comments from the members of BMJ(D) during the 'Aam Jalsa', particularly the youth, sparked an interesting exchange of thoughts as their active involvement reflects the bright future of the Bhatkalli community.
