BMA (R) hosts Eid Get-Together

Riyadh - Bhatkal community in Riyadh hosted grand Eid-Milan Party at Riyadh's best five star hotels, Riyadh Palace with an extravagant dinner followed by colourful entertainment program wherein childrens showcased their skills.
The fist session of the program was begun at around 9:30 pm with the Qir'at of Mohammed Sadiq Bantwal followed by its Urdu translation. Mr. Abdul Jaleel Ruknuddin anchored the program. Moulvi Khubaib Ruknuddin greeted the gathering and gave brief introduction of the program. The secretary of the Association Mr. Ismail Arif Akrami presented the annual report and Treasurer cum Accountant Mr. Abdul Aleem Kazia presented the budget which followed a brief Q&A session. The first session was concluded with the presidential address of Janab Abdul Sami, Association's President.
The second session began with the childrens program wherein a small child sang an English poem. Later sepate naity shows featuring girls and boys were staged. The girls played naity drama on 'Eid Shopping' while the boys played a translated version of drama on 'Juma Namaz' which was earlier featured on Peace TV. The childrens' program was very much appreciated by the audience. Later different competitions including memory quiz, one minute show etc were organized. Finally a 'Raffle Draw' was held in which record number of items were on stake including Laptop, gold chain, return air tickets, gold coin, currency and mobile phones.
In between Abrarul Haq S/o Arif Akrami and Mohammed Ameen S/o Ilyas Siddibapa presented English song and naity speech respectively.
The program expenses and the raffle draw was sponsored by several Bhatkali businessman in Riyadh including Sim City Irshad Siddiqa, Alba Plastic Abdul Sami Kola, Riyadh Textiles Abdul Aleem Kazia, Abdullah Fabrics Syed Abdullah Lanka, Muttalib Ali Khalifa, Silk India Riyaz Ikkeri, Al-Nawayath Liyaqat Askeri, Ameer Hamza Ruknuddin, Mohammed Najaf Khomi, Fawwaz Shabandri, Khaleel Goltey, Moulvi Khubaib Ruknuddin, Syed Aziz Barmawar, Tasneem Textiles SP Talha, SJ Zakariya Afaq Chamundi and others.
The entire event was managed by convenor of the program committee, Mr. Mohammed Najaf Khomi with the support of his colleagues Mr. Arif Akrami, Mr. Abdul Jaleel Ruknuddin and Mr. Munawwar Hussain Mohtesham, without their active involvement, the event would not have been successfully executed.
The program was concluded with the thanksgiving speech of Mr. Abdul Jaleel Ruknuddin at around 3:45 pm.
