BMA Jeddah organizes Grand Eid Milan

Jeddah - 02 Sep 2011: Bhatkalli community in Jeddah celebrated Eid with a beautiful Eid Milan programme here at Jeddah's Red Sea Hotel on Eid day. A large number of Bhatkalli people residing in Jeddah and Bhatkallis who came here to perform Umrah joined the celebrations.

The program was started with the speech of Moulana Ansar Madani, Jamia Teacher and Khateeb Millia Masjid, Bhatkal. Association General Secretary, Mr Qamar Sada greeted the audience and wished Eid Mubarak. Later Moulana Maqbool Kobatte addressed the gathering and discussed about Jamia's upcoming events to mark its Golden Jubilee.

Mr Ansar Kasimji, Mr Abdullah Damudi, Mr Mohammed Zahid Ruknuddin amongst others who also spoke on this occasion. Mr Ishaque Shabandri proposed vote of thanks.

Education Award:

In this session, Batkalli students who excelled in their board exams in Jeddah were felicitated with Gold Medals, Memento and Certificates. This session was compered by Mohammed Yaseen Askeri.

Cultural Program:

In this session several cultural programmes like short-skits, mizahia mushaira and quiz competitions were held which were very much appreciated by the audience. This session was compered by Mr Shuaib Koteshwar.

Lucky Draw:

In this session participants tried their luck on around 70 items including Hero Honda Splendor, Gold Necklace, Gold Coin, Laptop, Desktop, Mobile Phones etc. Mr Syed Tayeb Naite won the first prize i.e. Splendor Bike while Mr Haroon Damda won Gold Necklace.

The dinner was served to all participants at the end of the programme.
