BMA Jeddah Hosts Grand Eid Get-Together

Jeddah - Bhatkalli community in Jeddah celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with a Grand Eid Get-Together at Hotel Ramada here in Jeddah. Around 430 people have attended the Grand Party. Presence of eminent guests from Bhatkal including Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi, Moulana Maqbool Kobatte Nadvi, Dr. Owais Khwaja Ruknuddin, Master Nizam and Moulana Nasir Akrami made the event truely memorable.
The program was commenced with the Qir'at and translation of holy Quran by Abdul Noor Abdul Bari Fakarde followed by Usama Fazal Muniri presenting the Hamd. Later addressing the gathering Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi congratulated residents of Jeddah for being closer to the holy land 'Haram Sharief' and advised them to take maximum advantage of this opportunity. Later Moulana Maqbool Kobatte Nadvi, Dr. Owais Ruknuddin and Nizam Master briefly expressed their views and exchanged Eid greetings.
Later Association President Mr. Zahid Ruknuddin distributed gifts among students for their academic excellence. On this occasion Nizam Master was hornored and a memento was presented to him in recognition of his 34 years of service with Anjuman.
On this occasion children have presented several entertainment programs in which drama on 'Board School' was very much appreciated by the audience. The program was concluded with the 'Lucky Draw' wherein a record 120 items including bike, laptop, PC, gold chain, return air tickets, gold coin, NRI cheques, currency and mobile phones were on stake.
Mr. Muqeem Hallare had delivered the vote of thanks and Mr. Qamar Sada anchored the program.
