Blaze at residential buildings in Ajman brought under control

LATEST:  Ajman Civil Defence has confirmed to Emirates 24|7 that the fire that broke out in the two residential towers in Ajman has been successfully brought under control and cooling efforts are now underway at the site. There were no casualties. Two men and a woman suffered minor injuries. They were given first aid near the site of the fire, taken to Sheikh Khalifa Hospital and discharged on Tuesday morning. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, oversaw efforts by the civil defence to put out fire that broke out in a tower complex in Ajman’s Al Sawan area late on Monday. The government of Ajman will arrange alternative accommodation for all residents of the towers. The fire broke out at around 9.45pm on Monday evening in tower No.8 and then spread to tower No.6 because of strong winds.   Emriates247
