BJP's Karnataka Bundh observed in Bhatkal

Bhatkal - All educational institutions, shops and offices in Bhatkal remain closed and the vehicles are off the roads as the ruling BJP organized a daylong shutdown to protest Governor H R Bhardwaj's move to allow Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa's prosecution over corruption charges. Group of people gathered here at Shamsuddin circle in the morning and burnt tyres and shouted slogans against the Governor. The BJP activists were also seen forcing the shopkeepers to shut down their shops. No any untoward incident has been reported from any parts of the town.
