BJP will not be harmed by leaders working against the party: Govinda Naik

Bhatkal: "We have been informed that BJP leader Vasant Kharvi is working against the party in the Taluka and is co-operating with Jayanati Naik who has left the BJP and openly announced support for an independent candidate. We will not be harmed by this and we will definitely take action against it." This thought was expressed by Govinda Naik, the BJP candidate for Bhatkal-Honnavar Assembly Constituency at a press conference held at BJP's advertisement office.
While providing information on BJP's election campaign in the Taluk, he said that till now they have visited almost all areas in the Taluka and from everywhere they have got assurances for their support. Hence, they have hopes that the BJP will win elections in the Bhatkal-Honnavar constituency.
He further said that he has visited the constituency two times and has completed the ad campaign from Shirur limits till Mawin Gundy. Apart from that, with the help of party workers ad campaigns are happening in various Zilla Panchayat areas.
BJP's candidate Govinda Naik detailed that 50 people from outside Bhatkal have come to Bhatkal for Ad campaigns and along with the BJP workers they will work jointly for the benefit of the party. He informed that on 26th and 27th April, MP Anant Kumar Hegde and BJP leader Bhanu Prakash will come to Bhatkal and will participate in BJP's ad campaign. Apart from them, it is expected that some national leaders too will come to Bhatkal.
In the press conference, Bhatkal unit's BJP president Dinesh Naik, M V Heble, A N Pai, Taluka Panchayat member Nagaraj Hegde, Jagadish Jain, Deepak Naik, Dutta Tarya Naik, Nagendra Shetty, Rajiv Bhatt, Venkatesh Naik, Rajesh Naik, Ganesh Gudimane, etc were present.
